Airmail Greetings steps up once again as a proud supporter of The National Aviation Heritage Invitational, hosted by Rolls-Royce.
Official artist for the seventh year in a row, Joe Jones unveils our 2010 National Aviation Heritage Invitational flagship art developed for Rolls-Royce and event director, Mr. Ken Perish, steadfast custodian of our aviation heritage. This great annual restoration competition now has four main catagories.
Antique: Aircraft built and operated before 1936
Classic: Aircraft built and operated after 1936
Large Aircraft: Civil and military aircraft with wing spans of 45 feet or more. These aircraft can be single or multi-engine
Military Warbirds: Just about any type
In unwavering support of Ken Preish and NAHI, Joe Jones also work directly with Mike Houghton, President/CEO of the Reno Air Racing Association during the development of this year campaign artwork. As a visual progression from our 2005 NAHI artwork which featured an all aluminum DC-3, the 2010 concept would continue from there to develop a rich and prestigious presentation featuring a classic Curtiss Glosshawk biplane.
Join us at the Reno National Championship Air Races, September 15-19, 2010. For more information on this great event, please visit: www.heritagetrophy.org.
