Airmail Greetings was on hand passing out thousands of collector cards throughout the week to help celebrate the 10th anniversary of the Rolls-Royce / National Aviation Heritage Invitational held at the Reno National Championship Air Races, September 10-14 2008. Airmail Greetings proudly stepped up this year to become a major supporter of this wonderful annual aviation event.
Working as the official event artist for Rolls-Royce and NAHI director, Mr. Ken Perish for the fifth year in a row in 08, Joe Jones of Airmail Greetings was asked to come up during the Sunday award ceremony to be introduced as one of the official presenter of the "Paul E. Garber Trophy" given to the winner of the classic aircraft catagory. As many of you probably know, this great annual restoration competition has three main catagories.
Antique: Aircraft built and operated before 1936
Classic: Aircraft built and operated after 1936
Military Warbirds: Just about any type.
We kindly thank the thousands of you who took time to stop by our booth and share your thoughts with us throughout the wonderful event. See you all again next year!
